Part of me wishes I could absorb your pain, but somehow that seems invasive. Your two obviously had a beautiful relationship that could never be totally shared with anyone else. Nor can your grief. Cherish it as you cherish your memories. Such pain could only come as a result of such an exquisite friendship. Jesus weeps with you, as do I.

Oh Wendy, it is an agony like no other to have a best friend die. I am so sorry, and I my heart aches for you.
